I don’t understand why it’s so hard for people to realize that WWIII is NOT going to break out if lgbtq people are allowed to marry. Marriage is a union, a forever promise that two people will remain loyal, fight for each other always, and never ever give up. It shows the eternal love that is represented by the rings, a never-ending circle. It’s saying, “Yeah, I’m taken and I’m PROUD.” It’s everything to these people—something you don’t realize until you are one of them or love one of them.
